New Year, Make New Or Same Old Choices

Was God, health or your home in your New Year Resolution? Is it the same one you made last year? Have you already decided you will fail and it is all a dream? Are you ready and willing to choose God, better health and a home that glorifies God?

As you know, I will be blunt. So, here it is, you have control over your choices. You have to decide to stop making excuses, blaming others and make the wise choices. So do you want this year to be different or do you want to stay stuck in your same old ways?

If you are ready to choose, let's start with these few steps.

  1. Take it one day, one choice at a time.
  2. Start fresh everyday with your choices.
  3. Remember it takes doing something a lot of times before it becomes a habit. So again one day at a time.
  4. Accept the Daily Choices Accountability Challenge.
  5. Do not buy one more magazine or how to book. You are just going to not read it and have one more thing in your room to put up.

So how will this work? You will put your accountability list in an email or facebook me or put it in a comment on the blog daily. I will post one scripture, one exercise tip, one home tip and one family tip each week. Each tip will be very short so you can start doing instead of just thinking about it. So if you are ready to be accountable for your choices:

1. Right now sign up by sending me an email, facebook message or post a comment on this blog.

2. Tomorrow evening check off task completed on Challenge list and send to me.

3. Every evening Monday- Friday do the same thing.

Daily Choices Accountability Challenge Checkoff list

  1. Started day talking to God.
  2. Worshiped God in car or home.
  3. Read God's Word.
  4. Exercised a total of 30 minutes throughout day.
  5. Family cleaned up after dinner.
  6. Picked up after myself.
  7. Family picked up at end of day.
  8. Had family or children devo time
  9. Went to bed on time for a full night sleep.
  10. Talked to my children about what God is doing in their life.

I hope you take this challenge. Growing closer to God, getting in better health, making our homes a refuge and a place of teaching is so important. Let me help you make those choices this year. And as I see you struggle with certain choices, I will pray for you and help you find the root of the problem. As you succeed in your choices, I will celebrate with you and praise God for what He is doing in your life.

And share this blog and challenge with a friend.
